Mid Tribulation
The Mid-Tribulation Point
Three-and-a-half
years after the tribulation period begins, a period of even greater tribulation begins, the Great Tribulation.
The beast and
the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to
ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with
fire. For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by
agreeing to give the beast their power to rule, until God's words are
fulfilled. The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth." Revelation 17:16-18
The Antichrist destroys the false harlot church of Babylon, creates a
new world religion with the False Prophet as the leader of the new
church, including temple worship and miracles.
He was given
power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was
given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All
inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names have
not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was
slain from the creation of the world. Revelation 13:7-8
The Antichrist becomes the ruler of the entire world.
He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set
times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time. Daniel 7:25
The Antichrist will be a blasphemous ruler. His reign as ruler of the world will last for 3-1/2 years. He will deify
himself and set himself up as the object of worship
of all mankind.
